My "so-far" pics.. nervous to post!

Recommended Posts

I'm going to attempt to post some updated sideways pics of me. For some reason I carry my weight from front to back.. pictures from the front I don't look much different because I'm not wide sideways. (Does this make sense?) anyway, I see a little bit of difference here. According to the inches, my butt is what has shrunk the most but my sister says my stomach looks like it has shrunk the most.. I had to change the t-shirts because the tshirt in the first one was just swamping me and you couldn't tell anything in the after pic. I wish I would have taken my pics in one of those tight work out outfits like others did that way you could really tell. Oh well. Ick, this is so embarrassing, hence the reason I'm not putting these on the main before/after picture page. LOL.

Crystal, no way! You must have had a pillow stuffed in your pants for that before picture???? Where did your butt go? And I can see the difference in your tummy, too. And you have NO reason to be embarrassed about those results. Keep doin' what you're doin', sugar. Good job!

Thanks!! No pillow that was all belly, ha ha!! I have been doing a LOT of crunches and leg lifts and working out almost every day. The only thing I hate about the after pic is my t-shirt in the back like hangs and then goes in because I use to have butt there. HA HA. But thank you so much!

Holy smoke girl you are shrinking away!!!!!! What a difference!!! Sometimes other people can see more of a difference than you can and that's definitely the case here. You are doing a great job! Keep on swimming!!!!

Thanks you guys! you have truly made me feel wonderful and have given me that strength to continue on.. sometimes I get so sick of working out.. ya know?? But hearing all this makes me want to just keep on going... is it just me or does that t-shirt flap in the back of the after pic look stupid? I hope it doesn't look like a flap of fat or something. lol.

Nope it looks like your waist is too tiny for the shirt.

OMG Crystal you are doing amazing. Stop fretting over the T-shirt we can certainly tell the difference.

Umm looks like you are going to have to retire your theme song "Baby Got Back" *LOL*.

You look amazing! You should be so danged proud of yourself. And I can totally see the difference, front and back. I'm feeling a bit green with envy here.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
