Found a way to forget about food

Recommended Posts

So, I am not one to be star struck, but Matt Damon is in my town filming a movie, about my town. And tonight, I saw him. And he saw me. And he probably wanted me, but I have a family to think of.

Seriously, he is has been so nice, as most of the people that I work with, or go to church with, have had him film on their property. There are several others here too, but he is my favorite.

And he looked at me, in the eyes.

And I think that it may have been a break through for me, because the whole time, I wasn't even thinking about food!

Who is Matt Damon?

Oh the talented half of the writers of Good will hunting. He also stars in several Kevin Smith films, he is the main character in all the bourne Identity movies, and he is the guy that was checking our cute OP out.

He's decent.

Oh he also plays in "the talented Mr. Ripley"

Of course he was looking at you. You're gorgeous!

Could you send him over to my house to film? I could use some motivation.

Matt Damon just doesn't do it for me. Cute in a little-boy way, but nah..I want someone old enough to know what's what, and how to! Now, Sean Connery on the other hand.............:w00t:

Ryan Gosling from the Notebook does it for me.. oh man... if I saw him from across the way and he looked into my eyes.. I would probably poop out 30 pounds... HA HA.. ok, gross, but seriously...

Sounds like a good weight loss stratagy to me. Road trip to hollywood anyone?

Sadly though, when i was cast aside for the beauties that surround these stars, I would get depressed...and soothe my wounded pride with God's own comfort food - ice cream!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
