bandfan1 0 Posted May 28, 2008 my doctor said to avoid scrambled eggs. That all his patients have trouble.He said they have no explanation for it but they get stuck.Hope this helps.Mashed potatoes seem to be good. If you cook scrambled eggs on a very low heat (any Protein for that matter), they will not be rubbery. I am able to eat scrambled eggs with no problem, but I definitely cook them VERY SLOWLY!!! gdf18 2 Posted May 29, 2008 I"m going to try that. Thanks. I'm also going to go back on Previcid. I thought maybe I could stop after the surgery, but probably not this soon. The heaviness in my chest and burn are worse and so's the burping. Could be heartburn and acid. Why be miserable. I'll go back on for a few days and if I'm better, there's the answer. Listen I am not fully back to myself but that's age and the fact that I have a dicey stomach at best. But I wouldn't change it for the world. This board has been the best - I come here with every ache, pain and burp and someone answers and I find out others have the same. It's great. I'm down 31.5 today! Now I'm afraid they won't give me the first fill because I still can't eat alot at a time. I'll know when I go tomorrow. I have a list of questions and issues I'm taking along and I warned the office that I'm not leaving until all my issues are resolved. They laughed. Just remember, every question you have and every feeling, needs to be addressed. This is your time, baby- take it to be good to yourself. Khalili is the best- so use that.
