yaya78006 1 Posted May 12, 2008 If your band has slipped, you would be throwing up an awful lot. Have you had any problems with throwing up? When I got my band, I sat still and did not do any twisting exercises or sit ups until after 5 months. I wanted my band to get "set" I fell on my stomach the other day and am so sore, hoping that I didn't damage my band or port. sigh!
*susan* 1,709 Posted May 12, 2008 Judy, as long as you feel fine, you are following your doc's post-op instructions and your meals are staying down, you should be fine. As far as the weight loss, remember, you had lapband surgery, not gastric bypass. Most people don't lose, and some gain, between the time they have their surgery and the time they reach optimum fill. Now is the time for healing, not losing.
