Help with Mushies!

Recommended Posts

What are you all eating in the mushie stage? I have heard that crackers are ok if they are soaked, and if you chew, chew, chew. Is this right? I am hearing a lot of people saying that what you can tolerate is different for everyone. I thought it was physically soft foods, but I have also heard people say that it is actually soft to digest foods? My dietician was very vague about "soft" foods. My Dr. said "soft" foods. that was over a week ago, and I really didn't think to ask him more about it!

Help! :confused2:

"Soft foods" for me was basically anything that didn't require chewing. I ate applesauce, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes mashed up w/ a little sour cream, refried Beans, tuna and chicken salad blended up in a mini food processor w/ lite mayo, lentil Soup blended in the food processor, BBQ chicken (the kind that comes in the tubs) blended in the food processor, Stouffers spinach souffle, oatmeal, poached eggs mashed up.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
