tourismqueen 0 Posted May 10, 2008  I was banded yesterday morning in B'ham, AL with Dr. Miles and spent the night at the hospital, came home today and I'm feeling better than I thought I would. Not having a problem keeping down liquids. Very sore in the stomach as is to be expected. The ride home was painful (over 2 hours) but overall I'm great. I was very freaked out about being put to sleep, though I had surgery before so I was so happy about just waking up that I think my attitude is very good and that I can handle this! To all of you pre-banders, go in with with a very positive attitude and lots of prayers!

In addition to pain meds, make sure you get up and walk around so you don't get blood clots in your legs.
