Hi I'm 3 week post opt today. Has anyone out there had a Hemotoma on one of there small scars. I've had one for about a week and it feels like a hard knot and it hurts. The doctor says it's just a hemotoma. How long do they stay there? any help?

Yes I had a very large one due to my blood thinner. It can take a couple weeks to reabsorb. My was so large they actually took some out and the wound broke open just a little and drained. You are far enough out that probably won't happen and mine was tender but squishy. Heating pads help. It's just like any other brusie just on you tummy. Hpe all goes well. Keep us posted.
