SydneyLouWho 0 Posted May 7, 2008 My surgery is May 27th. I started in January with a BMI of 60. I have it down to 52. My surgeon will not do lapbands if your BMI is over 50. So, I still have 14 pounds to lose in 20 days. Anyone in the 50 or 50+ zone and want to keep tabs on each other??? It would be very nice to have others to talk with that are in the same situations. My information was sent to the insurance company on Monday, so if I hear something soon, There is a chance I might get my surgery this month.
