Carrie_C 9 Posted November 24, 2008 My doctor said no carbonation for a year. I don't really get why, but it doesn't bother me either way. I can live without it. You also aren't supposed to take any kind of over the counter pain meds except Tylenol. Anything else can cause ulcers and cause your band to errode. Also no stomach meds like Pepto or Alka Seltzer for the same reason mentioned above. Basically nothing with aspirin. You can have mylanta for a stomach ache. I have been lucky and can eat just about anything except bread. It is very painful. But it is bad for me anyway so I don't miss it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hdsantoni 0 Posted December 2, 2008 My doctor told me that there is no food off limits except for one, and that the band will let you know what YOU can eat and not eat. It is unique to the person.
