Just joined and want to say hi to all

Hello,

I have been banded on April 2, 08 in Tijuana by Dr. Ortiz. Everything was great. I have only lost about 8 lbs since then. Of course, I haven't had a fill yet. I am just now noticing that I am starting to get my old appetite back, so I think it's time for my first fill.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here and hearing the good/the bad/and the ugly.

Hi Susan,

I do have a quick question. I just, this minute, drank my first diet soda since being banded and I had no problem with it. I have heard so many horror stories - so what might happen to me now?

Welcome. I was banded on APril 8th. I have lost 12 pounds and am sort of at a stand- still. I am eating mushy foods - only about 800- 900 calories per day and I haven't continued to loose. Good luck to you!
