Behavior Modification techniques

Here are few techniques to help you with modification of your behavior and attitude toward food.< /p>

  1. Do not eat in front of the TV
  2. Do not read while eating
  3. Pre-portion food and pot the box or package away
  4. Keep tempting goods out of the house
  5. Do not go to the grocery store hungry
  6. Make a shopping list and stick to it
  7. Use smaller plates and bowls
  8. Keep healthy foods available
  9. Focus on activities other than eating
  10. Brush your teeth after meals or if feeling the desire to eat
  11. Do not eat standing up at parties or buffets
  12. Do not stand at the food table at parties
  13. Offer to bring a healthy food item to a party
  14. Park you car far away from your destination
  15. Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  16. Keep a food and exercise journal

Andy i am so happy to read this article, I am starting off slow but the wght is starting to actualy come off now. These tips will help me so much. Thanks and keep-em com-n.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
