Paula08 0 Posted June 12, 2008 Yippy, I too can wear regular sizes and I cannot remember the last time I was able to say that. I have now lost 43 pounds since Jan 08. I was banded 3/18. I love the changes in my body and look forward to even more. I feel better, I look better and I am so much more healthy, what is not to love about the band. I also loved the comment about wanting to be 180 pounds and then as time passed she changed her goal to 135. Now, I cannot wait for so much success that I too can realistically set a lower weight goal for myself. With the band anything is possible.
maryrose 2 Posted June 13, 2008 It is wonderful to be able to shop the missy sizes, although I admit the styles are a lot trendier. Being in my 50's I think I got used to the "toned" down larger plus sizes (I hate to admit that). I'm still finding my way around! :rolleyes2:
maryrose 2 Posted June 13, 2008 I just wanted to add, what's with the high waisted tops? I just lot 70+ lbs. I don't want to look preggers! lol.
Candle 11 Posted June 13, 2008 Congrats!!! I'm now in size 12 and a L-XL. I find myself not really knowing where to shop. I've had to shop in Plus size for so long I don't even know what stores have the best deals and my style. What is my style? I'm still losing and hoping for PS within the year so I don't want to start a whole new wardrobe yet either. I got a bunch of cute things for the summer at Target that were cheap but the quality doesn't seem to be that great. Such a new world - :crying:
