how is everyone else doing, starting to get fusterated

Hello all, was wondering how everyone else is doing since there surgery in March. I was doing very well, the first 60lbs melted off and am feelign better, but it has come to close to a stop lately. I was in last week and thought I would get a fill but the doc said did not need it since I had lost 35 lbs the first month. Just wondering how everyone else is doing. It has sure been nice though have already from from a size 42 jeans to a 36-38 jeans.

Sounds like you are doing great so far! I have lost 20 lbs so far though most of it was lost in the liquid stage (2 wk pre-op and 2 wk post-op). Tomorrow is my first fill and i'm excited for it because as far as i can tell i have zero restriction.

Mentally i knew i was in recovery when i was in the liquid and mushie stages, but now that i'm in the solid stage but still pre-fill i am feel a little more like i am somehow failing since i'm not really losing. My brain tells me that it's still the healing time and that weight loss starts once i get my fill, but my demons are creeping in just a little bit. So i guess you could say i'm hanging on and looking forward to my fill!

I was banded on the 27 of march. I only lost 20 than gain 2 lbs than loose 2lbs. I am so frusterated its not funny. I get my first fill Monday the 12 of May. I am scared because my port area is still a little sore. Is anyone else feeling sore or is it just me. Hartsdream:redface:
