lingram542 0 Posted April 29, 2008 :smile2:Hi I was banded April 16,2008. I live in Hot Springs Ar. and flew to Detroit for my surgery. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and surgeons there. They were super. I am on my third week on the post eating plan and so far I haven't had any adverse effects. lingram542 0 Posted April 29, 2008 Hi, I had it done in Detroit Medical Center and i can't say enough good about my experience. The staff was supper and the Doctor great too. I am on my third week of the post surgery. I strongly suggest for you to start walking as soon as you can. Walking right after surger prevents blood clots, and passes gas that is 90% of pain you experience. If possible space the pain meds. lingram542 0 Posted April 29, 2008 I choose Detroit because they had an excellent medicare plan and I was able to meet the requirements and they work with me. I tried other clinics clooser to home, and the staff didn't seem to be to be as devoted to get you qualified. I wish you well and ask for OLGA she is one of the special nurses on the Bariatric unit and tell her some on in Arkansas is waiting for an email.
