NY2LAGirl 0 Posted April 29, 2008 Hi Everyone just stumbled onto this site and was so happy to have people to share with! I am 49 years old and my surgery date is May 13th. I am having my surgery at Journey Lite in Thousand Oaks CA with Dr Helmuth Billy. I am paying cash for my surgery because Blue Cross didn't consider my sleep apnea, high blood pressure or degenerative back disease sever enough to warrant surgery. I am looking forward to my surgery and just a bit nervous. My dear friend just had her lap band last week so I am getting daily updates from her so that is a help!
