aeville90 0 Posted April 26, 2008 (edited) It has been 6 months since my surgery and I have only lost around 15 pounds. I do not know why I am not losing weight. I had a leak a couple months ago but that was fixed and now I have 7 ccs. I am exercising but I am still hungry. Please help because I am feeling upset and discouraged. I though I would have lost a lot more by now! Edited April 26, 2008 by aeville90

I though I would have lost a lot more by now! What are you eating - give me an example of what you eat in a day. What type of exercise are you doing and for how long. When was the last time you had a fill? Do you have any restriction? Need the above in order to give you some suggestions.
aeville90 0 Posted May 1, 2008 I have a slim fast drink for lunch and have Pasta, vegetables, or something else I am able to eat (I'm a vegetarian). I exercise around four times a week, usually swimming for 45 minutes or going on the elliptical for around 30 minutes. I do feel I have restriction for what I can eat or how fast I eat but not how much I eat. I have a 10 cc band filled up with 7 ccs. I am frustrated because I am not losing weight. Any suggestions? niekalee 0 Posted June 13, 2009 Hey. I'm exactly the same, I've had my band since last November, so around 7 months. I've lost around 10 or 11 kgs, and am completely discouraged, It's been so much harder for me than I thought it would be. I know the big thing for me is that I'm not eating properly, I don't eat for my full 20 minutes and often skip lunch and snack. I went to see my dietician a week ago and she told me that's probably the reason I'm not losing the weight like I should be!
Brockbabe82 0 Posted June 13, 2009 Are you eating smaller portions, eating the right things. Are you making sure you get your Protein, as that helps with the hunger. Have you seen your doc, or a dietician? If you are doing everything right then you should contact your doc again and get in to see him. Sending you postive vibes!
