I did it and I survived!

Yesterday was my surgery. It was nerve racking, but I made it! I'm in pain today, but it's manageable for now. I'm finding it hard to take deep breaths and hard to find a comfortable position to be in, but overall, I'm doing good.

Thanks to those who eased my full panic mode!

Congrats! Make sure you take care of yourself. Ice packs made me feel soooo much better after surgery.

The title of your thread caught my eye..... When I woke up from surgery the nurse that woke me up for one reason or another looked like my mother in law and the first thing out of my mouth was "Tell dan (my DH) I didn't die"

She thought I had lost it and let me go back to sleep haha.

Just a thought on the not being able to take a deep breath.. make sure u still try a few times and hour and use the breather tube thing they should have given you. Once per hour u should hold a pillow on your belly and cough to. This clears your lungs of the anasthesia not to mention the fluids that pooled in your lungs that can casue pneumonia.
