Vegetarians?

Hey - are there any banded vegetarians /pescas out there?

Can you tell me how your surgeon dealt differently with you? Did your pre-op / post-op liquid and mushy diets vary? What info can you give me, any would be great, thanks!

I'm pesca... and was banded in the 16th. So far the only thing I've had to do differently was on my pre-op and immediate post-op diet, I had vegetable broth instead of the suggested chicken broth. I talked to my dr about it and told him that I would do the veggie broth but add Protein to it, he didn't have a problem with it at all and said in fact, it was probably healthier.
