What is your NEW favorite/least favorite body part?

Recommended Posts

Favourite - definitely upper body - shoulders, collar bones, neck and decolletage. They're very slender, and I think well defined collarbones look sexy.

Least Favourite - my backside. Saggy with cellulite, ugh. And I'm getting low in my healthy weight range so it will never go away.

loving the collarbones and my neck, oh and no more double chin, no more jelly roll of a belly over my jeans, the only thing I am not loving is the top of my inner thighs, I'm a little worried as the last 30lbs comes off that i will have some saggy skin there, I am just hoping that with losing slow enough and being young with pretty good elasticity that the sags won't happen.

oh well, I guess you can't be perfect.

Favorite: chin/neck/face, and surprisingly, the forearms.

Worst: fat belly still, I really want to grab a chainsaw and just take it off.

I like my neck area, I dont have to worry about the position my head is in to try to avoid the dreaded double chin. I like to see my hip bones when I am lying down.I like my arms being smaller so I am wearing tank tops. I hate my legs. I will never be able to wear shorts. My legs are hanging flesh. GROSS.

My face is really looking good, and I'll be damned if I really have a neck. I wonder if I have an adams apple, time will tell. My wife really likes a certain part of me that has started to come out of hiding. Sex is getting REAL good.

Favorite: when I lay on side I actually have a nice curve that's almost like...the hourglass!Hate: batwings!

Same here, the trouble is that's because its all lying in a puddle underneath me, lol.

Favorite: legs, although the thigh skin is starting to sag down around my knees.

Least favorite: arms. They were my least favorite before because they were so big. Now they are my least favorite because they are so saggybaggy that they are puddling above my elbows.

Favorite part? My midsection ... I have uncovered my small ribcage and HELLO flat tummy! Are those hipbones I feel?

Least fav? Legs. I was born with tree trunk legs and will die with tree trunk legs, fat or skinny  That won't stop me from running as much as possible in an attempt to make them less tree-trunky! Everybody has to have a goal, right?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
