Mine look worse that that want2lose. I am completely bruised like purple .... plus have the scars. It has only been 8days and the purple is now turning to yuk yellow but it looks bad however if I am thinner then it will be worth it in the long run. I am tired of being fat even though I dress nice I did not like what I saw.. Brendab

Alot of this weight stuff is how you view ones self, I was always told I was pretty but if I just lost a couple pounds..(by so called Friends) I over compenasated for my weight with all the extras makeup, nails, hair, great clothes and designer shoes/purses. and of course my bestest friend JEWERLY..

We are BEAUTIFUL in our husbands/ wives eyes and we are all loved so right there is half the battle. I know very skinny woman who would just die to be in our shoes. and most of all GOD loves us and he created our free will to eat and the doctors have given us a new chance on becoming healthier not just thinner.

God bless,

off to do some "work" outside the home at the law office.. of course today I am sicker than a dog with allergies.......:sick

oh well have a happy day

xoxo Rita Ann

My DH keeps laughing at me that I even care about the scars. Given that most my mid section is totally covered with a million stretch marks, whats a couple little scars thrown in there. I guess I wished they were lower so if I get a TT they would be even lower or gone all together.

I too am a bruised mess and it has been 12 days.It is getting better but the area where the port is now has red bumps but no infection. I think I may have an allergy to the tape. Brendab

The full size me is the day before my surgery. Then I have one a couple days after the surgery with my steri-strips and band-aids. Like the Hello Kitty?

Then, I have a pic a couple of weeks after where I accidentally ripped open a part of my incision and had to put a steri-strip back on. I'm about 2 1/2 months out now.

I used the Vitamin 3 oils on my 3rd degree leg burns and boy it you don't think that'll take scars AWAY, not just lighten them, your wrong. Anybody that has they're doubts, look at my burn pics I posted. Wow, did it ever work.

WHERE CAN YOU GET SOME OF THAT Vitamin 3 OILS?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
