princess_n_thep 2 Posted April 4, 2005 I have been having bouts of "nausea" when I think I have over eaten a bit. But then again, I am still post op only 2 weeks.
Mariposa Bella 3 Posted April 4, 2005 Well It has been three weeks since my last fill, the too tight one also, and now its too tight again, I am not having a hard time with liquids which is good, but I am not able to keep food down too well. Is this common? I mean I can barely eat about three tablespoons of solid food and that is all. On the upside, I weighed myself this morning and I weigh 160 on my home scale which is light about 3-4 lbs, so I am doing quite well, but yesterday we went to this awesome restaurant w/ some friends and all I did was play with my food because I couldn't eat any of it. When one of my friends seemed like he hadn't had enought to eat, I quickly took one of my enchiladas (chicken and spinach and feta) ,( really awesome to eat, preband of course) and put it on his plate so that I wouldn't have to explain why I hadn't eaten anything (I'm a closet bandster, to most). I don't know if this is how I want to live the rest of my life, feeling so deprived... ONce I'm at my weight, what happens, do I go get the band totally unfilled and then adjust as needed? Please tell me.
MeganA 35 Posted April 4, 2005 Kelly- I felt sick to my stomach after I ate all the time and started taking Prilosec OTC and it went away. I had the flu and then got really tight and had a little bit of heartburn with sick to my stomach feelings only after I ate...and it wasn't in my little stomach but I could feel it was my big stomach. After a dayof Prilosec, I did not feel the sick to my stomach thing after I ate. Just an idea... Megan
