Woody 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Hi everyone, I had my surgery one week ago. It took a little longer to get my strenght back then I thought it would but I am finally feeling normal. I am starting on soft foods today. You would think that would be exciting but at this point food is not important at all,(HOW COOL IS THAT).:blushing: I'm glad I found this website, I look forward to meeting lots of new friends. moonshadow2468 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Hi, I'm 4 weeks post.. it only gets better. Good for you, we each are traveling at different speeds, hit different bumps, but are all traveling in the same direction. We all want to be healthy and happy and have made a big decision to that end.
jfromsd 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Hey Woody! I was just banded like 9 days ago, so I know about where you're at;) I'm just wondering what "soft foods" your dr specifies as okay... I'm just curious because it seems like different drs give different sets of food guidelines sometimes. Just curious;) Mine basically said to blend food up until it's the consistency of applesauce for the next 3wks yet.. Hmmm.... :blushing:
