hopeinapril 1 Posted April 20, 2008 Hello Shamrocks! I keep meaning to start this thread, then forget about it when I am online. I figured it would be nice to have a thread that is for all our embarssing questions and/or comments. Funny part is that right now I don't have one, but I wanted to start the thread before I forgot.

hopeinapril 1 Posted April 24, 2008 Scar tissue is a good answer. I can't see my port, so.... I just have a scar.
Busy 0 Posted April 26, 2008 Is it just me or does anyone else burp alot?? Drives me nuts because it happens at the worst times.

nycm00 0 Posted April 26, 2008 Burping a lot here too. It really does bother me. I am hoping that as time goes by and my body gets used to this new way of eating it will get better. Christine
Michee 2 Posted April 26, 2008 If I am with a new partner for the first time and he is noticing the port bump, I am doing something very very wrong................
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted April 26, 2008 I have been banded for 16 months and the burping doesn't seem to go away. I am not sure why, but I know a lot of banded people who have had their bands a lot longer than me, and they say it never goes away. The band must trap air somewhere in there. Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted April 26, 2008 My daughter keeps telling me I need to learn to burp with my mouth shut. Even with my mouth shut, sometimes they are very loud. It IS embarrassing. It's not very lady like, that's for sure.

hopeinapril 1 Posted April 27, 2008 I get a lot of hiccups and they hurt! I used to get them when I was a teenager, but not so much recently, until I was banded!
Fenton 3 Posted April 27, 2008 I have to say that I LOVE my new burping skills! Sometimes I can lean forward and emit a low, gurgling growl that lasts five or six seconds. It's hugely satisfying!
