Body Bugg??

Recommended Posts

I'm just curious what how the body bugg system works, and how useful it is. I've seen that some people on here have them. I've been to the website, and it wasn't very self-explanatory. Any body know anything about them?

I've had my body bugg for a week now and I LOVE IT!!! The way it works is, you wear it on your right arm and throughout the day it senses and records every single calorie your body burns, weather you are sittting down or running up and down stairs with laundry, doing dishes, everything is recorded. It also records how many steps you have taken and it tells you how many calories a minute you are burning. They have a website where you down load all your info onto and you then record what you have eaten throughout the day. it then tells you how many more calories you have to burn or what you can and cannot eat to meet your daily goal to facilitate your weight loss. It has alot more too. It is very motivating, I don't think I have ever been so active in my life. Its like a game I'm playing and want to win. How many calories can I burn... So far this past week I have had a calorie deficit of 2200-2400 a day, that like 3/4 of a lbs a day. And let me tel you the weight and espeacialy the inches are coming off.

that sounds awesome. one more question: do you have the armband and the digital watch looking thing? i'm not sure what the watch is for. also, do you wear it when you sleep?

Yes I have the watch. The watch tells you right then and there all you stats, calories burned, steps taken, how many mins of activity, for today and yesterday , also what your target calorie burn for the day is, how many cals a min you are burning. If you don't have the watch you have to wait to be at your computer to get all this info. As for sleeping, the manual says that you should wear it to bed for the first 2 days and after that it is up to you. If you don't wear it to bed it automaticlly just assumes that you are burning 1 cal per min while you sleep, I have actually been really burning between 1.3-1.7 cals per min while I sleep, so I have been wearing it to bed, cause I wakeup in the morning with a higher number than I would if I didn't wear it.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
