the best me 6 Posted July 18, 2006 It's a plant exchange! I gave away the last of my plants. They are gone gone gone. So there. They drove me crazy, I didn't love them. They deserved a better home. The Aloe Vera plant will be divided and repotted. The dirt was rock hard, it was awful. And it wasn't dry...it was just hard! I have no clue what I did to it. The little ivy was growing but not growing big. just long. I don't know what it needs but it's getting repotted. The other plant is...I don't know what...I forgot, but it's doing okay, it just needs some attention. So, the fish died last year, the dog died the year before, the plants have been adopted out, all I have left is my family and home. THAT I can handle! LOL Wavy, send that lilly over to 'bonzo. She's a good girl...you can trust her with your plant

the best me 6 Posted July 20, 2006 Awww....what a nice thing to say! Kathy, looks by your stats you are doing great!!! I am so proud of you! I bet the clothes I sent you are history by now!! They are! I have passed them along to my banded friends in Charlotte. Dragonwillow has the funky jeans and the wrap shirt. The rest...who knows which girls have them! Clothing exchanges are wild! Think...restaurant parking lots, cars lined up, 5-6 girls digging through one another's trunks...LOL! Yep, I'm in a 16W now. Can't quite do the regular 16's (big butt/thighs and flabby tummy, eww) but I'm getting there! Yay! You married yet? How's Herman?

tambonzjo 7 Posted July 20, 2006 Nope not married...He can't seem to remember to bring me a copy of his divorce papers. Supposedly it has been final since February but every time I ask him to bring them, he cancels our date. I haven't seen him since July 3rd.
Dody 0 Posted July 20, 2006 UPDATE: Well the hostas have been in the ground for a couple weeks now. I am sitting on the fence with this one and not gonna hold my breath.... they look a bit wilted and not as vibrant looking as when I planted them.... hmmmm.....I have not given up on them yet since they are still greenish and maybe something new is growing.... I think it would be best if I just never looked at them, then they wouldnt know I am expecting something of them and they would probably thrive.... A rock garden is starting to sound better and better to me. Great plants, but they require a lot of shade and don't do well in the sun at all. I have 6 huge planters of them. No compromises. (((hugs)))
wavydaby 1 Posted July 20, 2006 I dont think the poor thing would survive a box trip. I should take it in to work.. its odd, people will adopt other peoples plants if they think the plant is being abused.
