Any ideas? I'm just not getting enough.....

I'm on the clear liquid diet, and in the mornings I have 16 oz. of carnation instant Breakfast before work (I drink it from 6:30 - 7:00), and now, it's already 9:00 and I'm starving. The only other things that I can have on this is popsicles, Jello & broth, and I just am not sure how I can get that hunger to stay away. What do you guys do in the morning?

Try a nice big glass of Water or ice tea (if you like that) add some lemon and make it pretty. Hang in there, only 11 days to go. You will make it.

I'm a little confused...I don't think Carnation Instant Breakfast is a clear liquid. If you are allowed one such type drink then I would recommend trying to get a Protein Drink that is higher in Protein. I find they stick with me a little bit longer. Isopure is also loaded with protein and is clear. It's not the best tasting but poured over ice it could be tolerable.

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
