I'm currently caring for 9 puppies and a mother dog. They are all still too young to bathe properly - whew...talk about smell. As soon as they can regulate their body temps, I'm bathing those suckers!!!

I guess I'm a minority in that I like Dr. Phil.

He actually tells people they're stupid. I like it. I think his head has gotten way huge over that last few years, but when he first came out, it was refreshing.

My dog is sick. I am pretty upset. She won't eat. I took her to the vet today. I hope she's better tomorrow.

It's easy to tell people they are stupid. But it's not very helpful.

If you look under a posters name way at the bottom of a post you will find a snowflake looking thingy beside the exclamation sign. Click on that and it will come up with a place to post a rep

We're laughing all the way to the beach! I would not be surprised if, after reading everything, poor old Headhunter gets his innards fixed and then has another band put in.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
