Hey ladies I have a question. I am still going through all of my preop things and I am wondering, How much of my boobs will lose? When I lost my weight after my divorce I went from D to a C cup, but when I gained my weight back I didn't regain my boobs. So I am now a C and I am really worried that I am going to lose even more!!! So please let me know how much it affected you.

Thank you very much for all of your input.

I went down about a cup size, perhaps more, becuase I was definitely wearing the wrong size bra before and rectified that after the Oprah show on bra size was shown here. So overnight I went from a 20DD to a 16E, and since then I've gone down to 12DD.

But they're very flat now compared to before, it takes a lot of support to life them where they should be and when I lie down on my back, I can balance four full coffee cups on my chest (we did an experiment one day). It creeps me out, my boobs disappear under my arms and there's a huge expance of very bony chest, you can feel and see every single rib and a huge dent in the middle where the solar plexus is. And you can SEE my chest thump as my heart beats *shudder*.

There is nothing left of my chest and back, I"m really skinny there. You can see all the muscles in my back too.

I want to lose more weight from below, just a bit, but I really do NOT want to shed any more from up top or I'm going to start looking sick. I'm amazed there's any boobs there at all, but when they're lifted they'll look fine.

Whats left of my boobs is a 14C or 12D depending on the bra. I started at a 20DD.

I recall someone once posting about this exact topic saying that theirs were like 2 wet sports socks hanging on their chest - I can totally relate. Thank goodness for good bras that keep me looking my age when I'm clothed!

I started in a tight 46DD and now I"m wearing a loose 40DD. Cup is just now starting to loosen some, but I lost alot around the back area. I hope to loose a cup, I'd love to be a D cup.

You all make me so nervous I only have about 80 pounds to lose so I hope I dont have wet socks on my chest. I plan on having a boob job done when I am done losing my weight if its that bad, but I am really hoping that my boobs aren't affected and I wont have to spend the money on a boob job. I just feel like at 22 I shouldn't have empty floopy boobs. Thank you all for your replies.

I have lost a ton of inches from my bust measurement. I started out at 47 inches and am now down to 42. Its a little scary as to where I'm gonna end up. I started out a 42C and now I'm a loose 40C, probably could stand to be a 40B.

LOL! I've never tried the cup balancing thing but I can totally relate the the boobs taking permanent residence under my arms! Oh, and if you lay on your side, they connect together and make one boob on one side and flat chest on the other!

I went down from a 42DD to a 36D, I'm happy there. But my bras are now more like armor. They're padded, underwire, with little Water balloon thingys to lift and support. When I take my bra off, they flop. LOL! Oh well.

At surgery I was full 42DD and I'm down to a loose 38DD. I'm almost down a cup size. Depending on the bra style I may be in a D now. I'm going to get professionally measured when I get to onderland. I hope I can be down to a full C at goal weight. I don't like being too top heavy - I think it makes you look heavier all over. At my heaviest (and post baby) I was a 44DDDD and my back killed me - of course I looked like the michilan tire man all over so it may have been the fat that hurt my back too.

I've gone from a 48DDD to a 42DD. Love that they're smaller. Hate that they're longer

LOL! I know what you mean. Mine go from the Andies (with bra) to the Sahara (laying down). They get completely lost.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
