slenderella 7 Posted March 31, 2005 Hurray- I did it! I went for my ps consult, I was trying to lose 100 lbs first because I've heard that ins will pay, but decided I needed to ck it out and my ps said there is no way I can lose 40 more pounds....so, she siad try for 20 and then come in for pics and predetermination...but I can go and have arms andbreast done since ins will not pay for those anyway. So I am going to schedule for August for breast lift and brachioplasty...then next year I'll put in for the tt and thigh lift...now I must get that 20 lbs off.....here I go.... wish me luck and good restriction... live2canoe 1 Posted April 14, 2005 I am interested in the brachioplasty. Will it leave visible scars running down your arm, or will they be able to hide the scars in the crook of your elbow or maybe your armpit? I went to a plastic surgeon years ago about my arms, and decided against the procedure because he would have left a scar that ran from the crook of my elbow all the way up to my armpit. I'm curious to know what you have learned. My lunch lady arms (inherited from my grandmother) are outof control!

slenderella 7 Posted April 17, 2005 Hi- My surgeon will try to hide the scars as much as possible, but yes there will be a long scar but she thinks she can make it so that short sleeves will cover it completely....I said I didn't plan on wearing a halter top or anything, but she said I may do just fine and be able to wear whatever....so I'm going for it. Go for my fill next Friday....about 17 lbs to go. Nancy
