OhioGirl 0 Posted April 15, 2008 I have Anthem BC/BS of California. They are awesome. Approved my surgery in less than 24 hours after the surgeon's office submitted it. My company was sold in December and we switched from Cigna. I had been 8 months in the process with Cigna. Switching to BC/BS was a blessing in disguise. I was banded on 3/4. taylerzivalic 0 Posted October 12, 2008 I have Anthem Blue Cross as well, I live in Southern California. Monday is my first appointment with my primary physician to see if he will write a referral letter for me in order to have the approval process started. What steps did you have to go through before submitting your information to the insurance company? I am scared that they are going to deny me since they said that it would have to be reviewed by the board. Any information will be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
