I go to the Dr. on the 17th. Possibly for my first fill. I need to talk to him.

I have these...twinges in my tummy. Where the band is I feel this under the skin irratation sometimes. Not always, but often enough I know it is there.

If I lay on my side I can feel just a little uncomfortable. I wouldn't call it "pain" maybe just a little "hurt" if you know what I mean.

I was banded on Feb 27th. Am I not healed completely. I thought I was. I am def. going to talk to my Dr. and see what he thinks, but I was wondering if this is normal or if I should be extra worried.

Or shoot it might be gas. (sorry tmi) but my burps are so wimpy since this band.

i've only been banded for 2 weeks, but i get a little twinge in my port every time i bend down or even sit down. it didn't start happening until about 4 or 5 days ago, about the time i could actually feel the band. when i bend down, it kind of feels like a little pop. i don't know if this is what you are describing, but i know it freaks me out, too. hopefully someone else will come on and say that it's normal.

I think what you are describing is what is often referred to as "zingers". It might be like a little jolt of pain/uncomfortableness. I had this for up to 8 weeks post op and then they stopped. It has to do with nerves/muscle.

As someone said, it's nerves. When they cut into your tummy, they cut nerves and they are now repairing themselves. It takes a while. Also the fibers in your muscles where they put the port are reknitting.

In addition, at almost three years out I still sometimes get a twinge. I mean...the port is sewed to the muscle, so if it pull it oddly, I feel it.

All perfectly normal but I still suggest you ask your doctor just in case!
