port placement

I was just wondering does anyone notice that their port is sticking out far I don't think I would want the band sticking out so far that it is noticable let me know.

the port is placed in the abdominal wall. It does not stick out at all.

My port is nice and hidden! I can feel it but I cant see it!!!!

Mine doesn't stick out, but if I try to feel it I can.

mine doesn't stick out either, but if I overeat to being stuffed it makes my port and everything around it hurt.

I have little fat on top of my abs it is all on the other side. My port sticks out but then again I am still healing. The Doc said that it was going to stick out a little. But there are three different type ports that I know of I will attach the pics......

2ports.jpg show the relative size difference.

A/P II long taper.jpg is the same size as the smaller port in the photo 2ports.jpg. This is a newer port and replaces the smaller port in the other photo.
