mnm8077 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Hi, I am just beginning this lapband journey. My name is Tameka, I am 27, married for 10 yrs. and have a 9 yr. old son. I have an appointment with the surgeon, nutritionist, psychologist and nurse tomorrow, April 14. I hope I will get approved!! My insurance covers the surgery 80%, guess that is better than nothing!! I currently need to lose 130 lbs. I am nervous about my appointments tomorrow!! One big thing I worry about with the surgery is excess skin!! Most of my weight is in my stomach like I a pregnant!!
