Liquid diet starts tomorrow.....

It's all based on the individual doctor. Some people don't have a pre-op diet at all, others have high Protein, low carb. It all depends on your doctor. I know, NOT FAIR!!!!

Well, I am still on a liquid diet until Tuesday, when I get to eat soft food. I was banded April 21st. I have found that if I mix Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup with my vanilla Atkins advantage it doesn't taste to bad and doesn't leave a real bad after taste. I tried the chocolate brand and found the sugar free chocolate syrup helps the taste as well. Also, ask your doctor if he is going to give you pictures of your band after it is installed. It will also show your pretty liver. I have to admit sticking to a liquid diet after surgery is a lot easier than before the surgery.

hang in there. I personally don't have an appetite yet. I did on Mon & Tues when I had the bowel prep. I was banded on 4/23.
