I felt the same way about the ISOPURE... I thought I wasted the 50 bucks I spent on it!! try this (if you have the powder might as well use it) If your a coffee drinker.. I use about 6oz of non fat milk a tblspoon of instant coffee a little spelnda and lots of ice... I but it in my bullet blender and YUMMM it taste like a frappuccino! If you can still taste the powder then add more ice!!

its now my new favorite Breakfast drink!!

hope this helps

Any Unjury drinkers out there? strawberry SORBET, yum yum!! You just click on their website & order which ever flavor your little taste buds desire. I'm partial to STRAWBERRY SORBET, cause that's the only flavor I've tried in the UNJURY. I also like the 100% whey Protein (chocolate). I blend my drinks w/ 8 oz skim milk & ice cubes to make drink seem like a shake.

The UNJURY drinks I enjoy I can credit to my dietician at the BARIATRIC CENTER. She gave me the first sample I ever tried of UNJURY & that hooked me.

I really like Ultimate Meal from HiHealth and Spriu tein Cookies N Cream and chocolate and Cheeries Jubilee from Sprouts--the Spiru tein you can get in sample packets which is great b/c you can try them before investing in a whole container of it.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
