What is your "dream outfit"?

Recommended Posts

I have a couple of them. One, I would love to look good in a long, cream-colored fisherman's sweater and a pair of nice jeans. I would also love to wear jeans with a black turtle neck (tucked in! What a miracle that would be!) and a belt. A belt is something I have literally never been able to wear in my entire life.

What are your dream outfits?

Apparently it's a v-neck t-shirt and jeans. LOL.

Although, to be honest, I'd like to actually look GOOD in a t-shirt and jeans. Novel idea there. So maybe my dream outfit is the same one I already have, just 5 sizes smaller?

I want to be able to wear nice business suits. I'm in school working on a business/accounting degree and will probably have to wear those to work everyday. I'd also be happy in any shirt that falls flat from below my breasts to my waist instead of a big bump of a stomach.

Gibson, you always seem to come up with interesting threads!I would have to say my dream outfit would be the clothes I wore during my rodeo days back in the 90s.Wranglers,a nice starched button down western shirt(tucked in!)Roper boots and a Resistol Black Gold hat.Hopefully, I will be there by X-mas!

Love this thread!! My dream outfit is definitely a pair of killer fitting jeans and a cute sleeveless top. Living in San Diego it's sunny here year-round. It would be nice to have a wardrobe to match the weather!!

You know what I want? Calf length boots. I want a sassy pair of low heel, matte black leather boots that go halfway up my calf. And I could wear them with a skirt, or wool leggings or tight jeans. And I would be able to actually zip them up and not get stuck a few inches up my fat calves. And I would like to not buy them at Lane Bryant or Dress Barn where they have boots that are extra wide for chubby calves.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
