Jan Guest 0 Posted April 11, 2008 I am researching lap-band and learning all I can before i make a decision. Jan
Neeley 0 Posted April 11, 2008 this is a great place to learn and the chat rooms are bettet. there is a wealth of information to be found in both venue's. I will suggest staying away from the complications board, remember the the bandsters that don't have problems usually are not posting on the boards. Get the info first them read the complications otherwise your brain will start playing tricks on you! Good luck in your journey

Jan Guest 0 Posted May 15, 2008 Hi Everybody, I had my lap band surgery yesterday and I am doing great! I'm a little sore but that's to be expected. I was so excited today because I ate a little cottage cheese and was full and didn't want/need to eat anymore. And I have NOT been hungry! That is the most amazing feeling, not to be hungry. I hope everybody is doing well and thanks for the support and encouragement. Love and Light, Jan
kathystrick 3 Posted May 15, 2008 Jan, Glad surgery went so well for you. Were you outpatient or did you stay overnight? How are you feeling today?
Jan Guest 0 Posted May 15, 2008 Hi Kathy, I was outpatient. I went in at 7:00AM and was home about 4:00PM. And a lot of the wait was for X-ray- they were so busy I had to wait but that was what took so much time. I feel great! Again, today, I ate some cottage cheese and was not hungry. I just drank a slim-fast and feel so satisfied. I am almost in tears thinking that this is REALLY, REALLY going to work. But then I am only two days in but I feel very hopeful and encouraged. Thanks for the encouragement Kathy. I appreciate it. Love and Light, Jan
