StLouisGal 1 Posted April 11, 2008 No catheter, although I think I had one during the surgery but it was gone before I woke up. Ice chips as soon as I left the recovery room and was taken to my room. Clear liquids soon after.
NukeChik 1 Posted April 11, 2008 No cath for me. Ice chips as soon as I asked for them in recovery. Water and apple juice when I was taken to step down recovery. I was at a surgical center, outpatient so I had surgery at 9 am and was headed home by 12 (by my choice)

lafevretj 0 Posted April 12, 2008 In recovery my mouth was so dry I could hardly talk. First they leg me have a mouth swab with a little Water, then ice chips and by the time I got to my room they let me have sips of water. That evening at supper, I had broth and watered down apple juice.< /p>
