Everything has gone well. However, last night I felt something shift - it almost feels as if I have something stuck and continue to swallow. Has anyone else experienced this or could this be a minor slip? I can still drink liquids and have never had any PBing or vomiting but I want to make sure this is not a sign of slippage.

Welcome to our lap band talk forum. You're gonna love the support her. I'd say since you are so newly banded I would call and ask to get in to see my doctor just to have the peace of mind.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
