Pounder 0 Posted April 9, 2008 Hi All, I want to introduce myself. I was banded on 4/8/08 and am on my way. I am a bit sore although not as bad a I thought. My big problem would be the gas at this point. Comes and goes and I am currently on Pepcid, Gas X, heating pad, warm liquids and walking. I am hoping they subside in a few days. Anyhow, even before the placement this experiece has had a positive impact. My first weigh-in @ the Dr was 383 and the morning of surgury I was at 358. It feels so good to say I am down 25 pounds!!! Looking forward to great conversation in the future. Regards, Greg

Fenton 3 Posted April 11, 2008 Yeah - if you feel gas pain, get moving. It helps with the gas, and it burns energy... Welcome aboard!

paamulbig 0 Posted April 12, 2008 I've been a "lurker" up to this point. I have enjoyed and learned a lot by reading your posts. I will be banded Mon 4/14. My son was banded 4/11 and my daughter will be banded 4/24. Dr Victor Gonzales will do mine. I started at 284 and after 12 days liquid diet am down to 260. I retired after owning a small company that did outsourcing work for American Express where I retired the fisrt time. I look forward to learning more from you guys in the future......Weldon
