On my post op paperwork from my Dr. it states I can have chicken salad this week. I am two weeks post op. But I keep reading on this site that chicken has to be pureed and not chopped. I am confused how I would make chicken salad that way. I opened a can of chicken, added mayo and some cranberries. I put them in my chopper and chopped the heck out of them. It was very smooth. Was this ok???

My husband grills chicken breast for me then takes my food choopper from Pampered Chef and chops it up. I then mix light mayo with it and voila a mushy chicken salad. I am not sure I would call it pureed but it goes down well and the taste is yummy. I have to fight the rest of the family for it. :rolleyes:
