Jessizzle 9 Posted April 9, 2008 Yay, im sooo excited!! i got the phone call today, that i got approved for surgery!! im soo excited, and surprised that i got approved, because NONE of my doctors would write the note for me!! They all said, "Youre too young" or my favorite "If you want to loose the weight, you will" so my suregon, Dr artuso, wrote the note for me, and after about 3weeks later, first attempt, I WAS APPROVED!! i'm just really happy, because i wasnt expecting this so, i have a question now: after being approved, how long did you have to wait for the surgery?? smgallop 1 Posted April 9, 2008 I went in to see my doctor for consult in late January. I got approved in early February and got the band on April 3rd. I guess wait time depends on how many you doctor has scheduled before you and the pre-op diet. Keep us posted. Let us know how things progress.
