jaylow 1 Posted April 7, 2008 I have not had surgery yet but have been put on a high Protein low carb diet and have lost 28 lbs. I'm excited but at the same time having a panic attack at my weight loss. I am now fitting into regular sized extra large clothes and for some reason I felt nervous while buying my new clothes. Has anyone else felt excitement and panic while losing weight or should I be signing myself up for some major therapy.
Eiramana 0 Posted April 7, 2008 I dont' think you are crazy at all. I know that for me there is always a certain point where I freak out. Not only do I plateau physically but also mentally. I think you need to take a look at all the things you will experience without the extra weight and and see if anything scares you. No matter how you look at it, it is change and change is scary. I guess to sum it up I would say that you are not crazy but in fact perfectly normal.
FinallyFree 1 Posted April 8, 2008 Jaylow, I paniced too when I went shopping and discovered I fit into "normal" size clothes. The only advice I'd like to offer is, don't buy too many items in the extra large size. You'll be out of them before you know it when banded. Isn't it great!!!!
