Tummy Tuck Scar Pictures

Recommended Posts

Hopefully people can post pictures of their Tummy Tuck scars and overall results of the tummy tuck. This will be very helpful for those who are looking into getting a tummy tuck. It will give us an idea of what to expect months or years after surgery. The name and location of the doctor would also be wonderful to help us in making the decision. Thanks!

Cynthia

I don't really have pics of my scars, guess I could take some.

But, here are my before and after pics (3 months out).

I was very happy with the results and my doctor was excellent.

I plan to use him again for a thigh lift once all my weight has been lost.

WestCoastFatGuy & Kellie74,

Thank you guys so much! I needed to hear that. Most people don't say a word and in my head that makes me think that there isn't a difference. I'm self-conscious as it is, you all have made me feel 10 times better about myself- Thanks so much!

Anyone else have pics to share???

I always love seeing the results of others, too. I've become a plastic surgery TV show addict!

Julie,

I notice you are having thigh lift too. What kind? Inner or outer? That's what I want done next. I was originally supposed to have it done with my TT, but they weren't able to do it all at once.

Hi there. I am having an inner thigh lift with out Lipo. I don't have too much hanging skin so he isn't having to make the incision down the entire thigh to the knee. Instead he is doing the lipo and bring the skin up and suturing it up into my upper thigh. He has to cut me 1/2 way around my thigh to do it that way. JulieNYC has her thighs lifted and had the incision down the inner thigh. He said that it doesn't look too bad 6 months out. Julie

Wow, please keep me posted on your progress. Sounds like a nice way to have it done, vs the large scar down the thigh.

I'm very interested in your outcome. Good luck and congratulations!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
