Marissa's Mom 1 Posted April 5, 2008 Hi, I am new to the site. My name is Amy I live in Duncanville, TX and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter named Marissa. I am scheduled for surgery on Friday, April 11, 2008. I am a self pay because I was denied by my insurance because my BMI was too high (I know, I know....). Anyway, I decided not to fight the system (insurance) after many months of indecision to pay for it myself. I am looking forward to learning from the pros! I'm just a tad South from you & also have Dr Felts as my Dr (hubby too)....Self pay as well:) Welcome to the site - there's some great advise here, I wish I found this Before surgery - nonetheless it's helped me a bunch.
