Songinmysoul1 0 Posted April 4, 2008 I finally got a third fill and know what it is that people are talking about. It's tiiiight. I can get a little food down, but it's been a battle. I had three pieces of egg this morning and it was torture. Having said that, why am I hiccuping every time I eat or drink something? Anyone else having this problem? Thanks All....
socaldixiegal 0 Posted April 4, 2008 I actually can't eat eggs - which is a shame as I LOVE scrambled eggs. Could up until this last fill. Now they are a no no. I do tend to get a hiccup or two when I'm getting full. What I find is that I need to figure out what my full signal is. Sometimes it's a hiccup which I'll get prior to feeling that tightness/pressure that signals I've eaten too much. Also, watch how fast your eating/drinking. Right now I'm having trouble getting enough Water in daily as I only can take a few small sipps at a time then have to wait. If I eat or drink too quickly it's uncomfortable and often PB (yes, even water).
MissMom24 2 Posted April 4, 2008 When I hiccup, that is my stopping point. Some people get runny noses, cough or a sigh. For me it is the hiccups!
Hastings 3 Posted April 4, 2008 Lots of people have problems with eggs. It's often reccomended that you have fluids for a day or so after a fill. I hiccup when I am either full or have swallowed too much. I definately take it as a warning.:cursing:
Songinmysoul1 0 Posted April 5, 2008 Thanks everyone for the advice. It's weird, I started hiccuping after three sips of lemonaid too!
