Dee66 0 Posted April 4, 2008 Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post and I cannot believe that I have finally come to the point of insurance approval! I am holding my breath and should hopefully hear something in about 7-10 days! I remember finding this site back in January and reading almost everyone's posts! It gave me so much information and helped tremendously. I have seen ALL the required Doctors, been for a sleep study, attended the nutrition classes and had all my doctor recorded weights for about 4 months. I was told that I needed 6 but I am hopeful they will accept 4. I truly cannot believe the time is here and I pray that my insurance will not let me down. I have BC/BS Direct Access of NJ. I will keep you all posted on how things are going. I was told that if approved, the surgery could be by the end of June beginning of July. I was hoping a little sooner but I have waited 40 years to start my life and I pray that all will go smoothly.
