PigsRFlying 0 Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) Today, I went in for my fourth fill and they said that I have somewhere around 4cc's. This concerns me because I still have a good 50-60 pounds to go. Is this a reason for concern? How many cc's will a 4 cc actually hold? Anyone, with any knowledge on this? Thanx! I have heard that bands actually hold more cc's than they say.... KimFrmSealy 0 Posted April 4, 2008 I have the 4cc band as well and currently have 4.3cc's in. I was told it could hold 5 to 5.5cc's max. Anything above 4.3 for me is really tight. I was banded Jan 07 and have lost all of my excess weight (90 Lbs). So, right now just maintaining. I am sure you will be fine. Keep up the good work and good luck! thenume 2 Posted April 4, 2008 Wow, I'm shocked. My band also hold 4cc's and my doc told me no one ever gets 4cc's because it makes a person so tight that it's hard to swallow spit. I'm surprised you all's band are so tight. I am currently at 2.6cc and I know I could be tighter...I am almost at my sweet spot. The above info is good to know. coolcrystal 1 Posted April 4, 2008 I have a 10cc band and I already have 5cc's in it and still have 120 pounds to go. LOL. So, I was also scared thinking, if I already have 5cc's, how much more will I need to reach goal ? what if I go over the 10cc's??? i believe he said that the 10cc will hold 12 cc.. but, I can't be 100% sure.I know he said it held way more than just the 10cc. I know you are talking about the 4cc band, but I think they all hold more than what they are sanctioned to hold.
