the best me 6 Posted March 24, 2005 Jennifer, you are gonna do great and it will all be fine. I have a bit over two weeks to wait for my surgery, but the jitters are creeping in occasionally. Sometimes I think "OMGosh, what the hell am I doing?!!" and then I realize I'm just stressed. I know because I'm cursing. And it passes and I get excited again. Keep posting and begging for encouragement. Things get busy and hectic around here (LBT) and we can hardly keep up...don't be afraid to yell over the din..."here I am!!!" Your gonna do great! Penni60 45 Posted March 24, 2005 No problem Jenn: Let me think that first month I think I lost around 20 lbs maybe 22lbs. But it was mostly Water loss but it was still a loss. That first month I was mostly on liquids then mushies. So Protein Drinks, Soups, tuna (very mushie), refried Beans made with Tomato Soup. LOTS of soups. I would recommend getting the Magic Bullet and blending lots of your foods for the mushie stage. I wish I had known about it then. Thanks Penni For All Of Your Kind Words It Really Helps. Feel2Young2B40 0 Posted March 26, 2005 Hi Jennifer! It's not so bad - recovery that is. I got mine yesterday afternoon and already up and around. Slowly and carefully but doing pretty well. Spend some time getting prepared with pillows, heating pads, ice packs, broth, juice, etc to help pass the time. You'll be fine and good luck!!!
