angelface 1 Posted April 1, 2008 Is Excedrine OK to take with a lapband?
GreenChrysalis 1 Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) Many surgeons say no or very, very limited intake of NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) which includes aspirin and ibuprofen, because they can irritate your stomach. Excedrin contains aspirin. I'd suggest asking your surgeon. Edited April 1, 2008 by GreenChrysalis
Chrisann 0 Posted April 1, 2008 I take it. Talk to your doctors office to be sure.
angelface 1 Posted April 1, 2008 Chrisann. About how often do you take them? I'll be banded next month. Excedrine is the only thing i've found to get rid of a head ache. I don't take them too often, maybe 2 or 3 a month. I'm hoping that's allowed.
vgerbus 1 Posted April 1, 2008 My fill doctor prefers that I take Excedrin over Motrin which is a good thing because Excedrin is the only product that will get rid of my bad headaches. To be sure though, talk to your own doctor.
